As a major player in the generics sector, we support patient care with affordable medicines. Eight out of ten medicines prescribed are generic, but these account for only less than 20% of all pharmaceutical expenditure. Generics are pharmaceutical products that contain the exact active pharmaceutical ingredient as the original patented product of the initial supplier. Despite their high quality, generics are substantially cheaper.
